Spinal surgery. Got infection and needed 4 further surgeries. He spent a total of 10 weeks in the hospital. |

We realized that many of Trevor's sounds were actually words. We just hadn't understood what he was saying. He said new words almost every day. |

16th birthday. We were snow bound so his party was at home with just a few people. Trevor loved his cake |

Moved to our wonderful new house. Finally we could go for walks wherever we wanted to. Trevor loved to go watch the trains. He also loved to watch the ceiling fans in several of the rooms. |

Started grade 11 at Westview School. He took the school bus for the first time in many years. |

Became ill and was put on ventilator at local hospital. Transferred to Children's hospital |

Christmas party with 15 friends at Children's hospital. He got many lovely gifts. |

Transferred to Canuck Place Children's hospital where he died less than 1 hour after his ventilator was removed. He was so relieved to not have the tube in his mouth any more. He was in my arms when he died. |
